COURSE DESCRIPTION
Students will study demographic, economic, social and historical forces and learn how to translate them into fashion forecasts. The course will analise the basic principles of current trends, fashion fairs and textile districts. Particular attention will be given to the Italian Apparel Industry, understanding its textile traditions and the most current clothing trends. Visits to forecasting book stores, exhibitions and fashion studios will be part of the learing process.

Enrica Guidato comes from Lecce, Italy. After receiving her scientific Diploma, she moved to Florence and then New York where she received her Associate Degree for Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology S.U.N.Y. She also received a Diploma for Apparel Design at Ent-Art Polimoda Institute in Florence, Italy.
