Sandra Cecchetti was born in Florence, Italy, in 1974. She received a Laurea in Foreign Languages and Literature (English, German, Spanish) from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2000.

As a 2000-2001 EU Stager she worked in a European Affairs Consultancy in Brussels, Belgium. As a 2001-2002 Socrates (EU Program) Scholar, she taught italian at the Anton Raky Realschule in Salzgitter-Bad, Germany.

She has taught Italian at a variety of language schools in Florence.
Anna Omodei Zorini was born in Florence, Italy in 1969. She received a Laurea in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Siena with a major in Russian Literature. She went on to earn a PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Siena with a dissertation on the influence of Anglo-American poets on the poetry of Joseph Brodsky.

She has published critical essays in the literary magazine Europa Orientalis, and she contributed an essay to Stare tra le Lingue. Migrazioni, Poesie, Traduzione (published by Manni Editore, Lecce, Italy, 2003).She teaches courses in Italian literature at the Siena program of SUNY Buffalo and courses in Italian language at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence.
