Lorenzo Picchi graduated from the University of Florence, Department of Political Science, in April 2000 and holds a Master’s Degree in European Media Studies with a final dissertation on Italian Neorealist Cinema. He teaches Italian History and Society, History of Italian Cinema and History of the Mafia in different American study-abroad programs in Florence, and he is currently beginning to work on his PhD.
